Payment data
Financial data is processed by the QR acquirer (Mercado Pago infrastructure) or PayPal. VIA Literary does not receive or store full card or bank-account numbers.
Operational data
To verify and deliver a purchase, the system records order/payment identifiers, work and edition, amount, currency, status, timestamps, and technical audit records.
Buyer email
For QR checkout, the buyer enters a delivery email before payment. For other methods, the provider may supply the email associated with payment. Commerce stores it encrypted for delivery and support, with limited retention of personal data.
